Marc Jacobs Wearable Technology

Marc Jacobs was recently asked by style.com an interesting futuristic question. For style.come’s fashion technology week they asked Katie Hillier from Marc Jacobs that if there were no limitations for fashion technology, what would she come up with to bring to reality. They wanted her to think about bringing her fashion fantasy to reality by drawing up a picture of what she would create. She thought of a MBMJ smart watch phone. It would be a small piece of jewelry that would be a pink triangle bangle bracelet or a small pink triangle earring. This small piece of jewelry would be able to do many technological things. The bangle would be used as a remote control device, as well as heart rate monitor, and finger print sensor. Then the matching earrings would be used as small ear buds for music that would play wireless and to make phone calls. These small devices would be available for both men and women. This is Marc Jacobs future of wearable technology.

  1. I read this article too and I think it is a step in the right direction! This trend began when designers such as Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, and Moschino began designing iPhone and iPad cases, headphones, etc. As technology becomes more and more prominent in our lives, I think that fashion will start producing designs that are innovative and allows technology to be apart of the fashion trends.
